My 2 year old can tell me what toys they are currently giving away in the Happy Meal and he hasn't been there in at least two weeks.
Can anyone say "Too Much TV"?

Can't believe you're 50. I idiolized you in my early teens. Wow how time flies.

I stopped blogging mostly because I shared the link and then I felt pressured to "perform". This is my soapbox so I felt locked down and maybe a bit censored. I've let enough time go by now so I think everyone has stopped checking for updates. I'll be back more often to update. If you're reading, don't tell me. I can't work for an audience. I need to believe that no one reads this. Thanks.

When choosing Benjamin's name, I Googled the name Benjamin Wagner just to be sure there weren't any serial killers or the like with the same name. With that search, I found the other Benjamin Wagner. He's a song writer and performer and a producer at MTV. He is working on a documentary about his experiences with Mister Rogers and the message that was passed on to him.
That was three years ago. The film is getting closer to done. Go check him out. He's keeping a blog of his quest to complete the film. His music is great (available on iTunes BTW) and he's a really cool guy. I think the name Benjamin Wagner is magical. I think someday my Benjamin is going to do great things too.

This young woman and Mom of 2 toddlers just found out that she is NED. I've been following her blog since shortly after her diagnosis. I don't know her and have only commented on her blog maybe 2 or 3 times. She worked hard and kicked some butt. She never lost hope or backed down from the fight. She took it head on and even shared the experience with others so they could learn from her journey. This is a hero.
Good news!

In case anyone still checks this blog from time to time, I want to share my latest addiction. This is worse than my addition to PostSecret because this one gets updated several times a day. Love, love, love it.

Seriously, we're getting snow tomorrow. Possibly up to 3 inches. Now before you laugh hysterically, know that this will paralyze Atlanta and we'll be home bound for the weekend.
As any good Southern girl can tell you, I should be at the grocery store right now stocking up. My cart should be full of milk, bread, and all the necessary food provisions.
We have food and would by no means starve, but there are no Little Debbies, Ben and Jerry's, Doritos, or (gasp) cans of Diet Dr. Pepper. I'm scrapping by here on Diet Coke and Ruffles. My children won't starve, but I'll be totally emaciated by Sunday. I may be forced to drink milk. Oh the horror.
I still have a box of chocolate covered cherries from Christmas so I won't go down without a fight. And I just hid the last Fruit Rollup for myself. We have a brownie mix but it takes eggs and we're out. There is a can of frosting if I get desperate. Mom gave us a can of popcorn last month and there is still about 1/3 of the caramel corn. I better hide that too.
There is NO WAY that I'm going to the store tonight. These people are crazy in this town when there are rumors of snow. And Ed is working so I'd have to take my children with me. And I don't like to take them to the grocery store on a good day. They drive me batty at the store.
This is a HUGE risk, but I'm taking my chances that I'll be able to leave the house tomorrow. We've got six diapers in the house and if I can't go to the store tomorrow and we run out, we're potty training. He better be ready ;-)
Man, I feel like a rebel.

Am I motivated to finish getting ready? Not quite.

Least favorite gift purchased? Madden NFL Football '08 for Playstation.
People left to buy for? Gift card for Grandpa and pick up pictures for Grandma and the Geezer's gifts.
Money dropped to date? DON'T EVEN WANT TO KNOW.

And really you shouldn't be surprised, she is a diva. And in case you're now trying to decide what kind of nut job makes this kind of stuff, I have no idea.
