Worst cab ride ever

I admit that I am motion sensitive and am overcome with car sickness whenever I ride in the backseat, however this was THE worst cab ride I have ever had. I hate cabs and avoid them whenever possible and this guy is why. He ignored all the road rules and drove waaaay too fast. I snapped this picture as he drove away to remind myself why I loathe cabs.

And my horrible ride cost $40. I might walk back to the airport.

I found new motivation to keep running

I ran in a race in August and I just checked the link for the online photos. I typed in my bib number and up popped a picture. I'd like to say those thighs aren't mine and they Photoshop'd them on me, but unfortunately it wouldn't be true.

Must keep running races until I get one of those fabulous run photos that I can be proud of. If I do, you'll see it framed over my fireplace next time you visit. My next race is in two weeks, but I don't think they take pictures at that one. Or at least I don't remember it last year. Then I have another one in October. That one is my goal for a good photo op. Maybe it will be cold then, too, and I can wear some running pants. Those make the thighs look a little better than the short shorts.

Also - I will no longer wear my glasses in races. Can you say "Running Nerd"?

P.S. I hear the vacuum cleaner downstairs and I'm not the one who turned it on. BONUS.

Something I've Noticed

With all this running you would think that my a$$ would be getting smaller but it isn't. It is the same size but it is a lot higher. While I was concerned about its size, I should have been concerned that it was sagging. It has moved a good 3-4 inches up. Why didn't anyone tell me that I needed a butt lift? Were you just going to wait until it was about to touch the ground to tell me that things weren't quite right back there?

I'm back

I stopped blogging mostly because I shared the link and then I felt pressured to "perform". This is my soapbox so I felt locked down and maybe a bit censored. I've let enough time go by now so I think everyone has stopped checking for updates. I'll be back more often to update. If you're reading, don't tell me. I can't work for an audience.
